Flying with a Cessna upon the Okavango Delta in Botswana, where the river spreads out in the savannah and never reaches the sea.
During the dry season, when the water level is low, you can see all the tracks made by the animals - mainly elephants and hippos - and spot them from above!
A wilderness that will stay in my heart.

After a quiet morning, we hit the jackpot! A cheetah with a fresh kill, in this case an impala.
This bull elephant made it clear it did not like us anywhere near his herd. Although numerous and protected, elephants in the Okavango Delta of Botswana live somewhat shorter lives on average than elephants elsewhere because the sandy soil clinging to the vegetation they eat wears down their teeth more quickly.
A leopard on the prowl. We followed him for 30 min as he wandered through fields and tussock, harassed the entire time by a troop of baboons. Eventually we left him alone to find his dinner.
